Can I put my membership on hold?
Yes! Joining our Stay & Save® program is a great way to temporarily freeze your membership and keep earning rewards. To enroll, visit your salon.
I want to cancel my membership. How do I do that?
First, we hope you’ll consider enrolling in our Stay & Save® Program, which allows you to secure your current Planet Rewards status, rewards and pricing while you take a tanning break. It may sound harsh, but we want you to be aware that canceling will cause you to lose membership status and bring your benefits level back to zero. Womp-womp! But if you must cancel, visit the Planet Tan salon where you’re a member and speak to a Planet Tanning Consultant. Note that the last day for cancellations is the 25th of each month.
How do I apply for a refund or cancel my membership under your 30-day money-back guarantee?
If you decide to cancel your membership with Planet Tan within 30 days from the date of purchase, Planet Tan will gladly refund you the amount you paid for your membership minus the sessions used. The tanning session cost will be calculated at the lowest rate available based on the time and the number of tanning sessions used. You will receive your refund within 15 business days. *Sunless however we guarantee the session, so we typically do not deduct the session(s) out of the membership or package. The customer is given a complimentary session.
- The tanning or skin care lotion must be returned within seven (7) days of purchase from Planet Tan.
- The lotion must be at least 3/4 full, or we will be unable to exchange or refund its original value.
- The lotion exchange/refund must be conducted by a Planet Tan manager or assistant manager.
- The lotion will be exchanged for in-store credit in the form of a membership upgrade, another retail product(s) or a sunless spray session(s) of equal value.
- No cash refund or in-store credit will be made for lotion sample packets.
What day does automatic billing take place?
The 1st of every month, or if the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday, then the following business day.
Can I change the automatic billing date?
No, the draft date is the 1st of every month for all Planet Tan salons.
What is the last day of the month to make changes to my account?
The 25th of the month.
How do I change the account for my membership billing?
The account can be changed by visiting any Planet Tan location.
